After graduation, Dr. Weissman maintained a private practice in the upper west side of Manhattan and was an assistant professor at NYUCD before moving to Oregon in 1987. Before attending dental school, she earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan.
Dr. Weissman has been practicing dentistry for over 25 years and loves being in her current downtown Portland location since June of 1988. Dr. Weissman actively keeps up to date with her continuing education ensuring that her patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care. Her most recent career achievement is earning a Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry, F.A.G.D.. Achieving Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry has been an area of immense pride for Dr. Weissman as this is the culmination of years of intense study in a variety of dental specialties and one of the few added distinctions a general dentist can attain. It is a rigorous program which only 7% of AGD member dentists have accomplished.
